Leading online sports betting provider, Betway has presented a cheque of GHC 150,000 to government’s COVID 19 Trust Fund to help lessen the effect of the spread of  COVID-19 in Ghana.

In solidarity with the communities that Betway operates in, the leading online sports betting company has committed to contribute towards worthy charitable organizations across the continent to help the fight COVID -19 pandemic as well as its related challenges.

On 26 February 2020 Betway announced an exciting initiative in partnership with Ghanaian football Legend Stephen Appiah. The campaign is called Betway 12^th Man and it is an innovative sports development initiative, it is a unique concept where Betway will work with ex-football professionals to touch the lives of local communities.

Betway has donated GHS 10,000 to support the Ghana Taekwondo Federation.

As part of its commitment to develop sports in Ghana, leading online sports betting company, Betway has donated sports equipment to the Asanteman Amputee Football Club based in Mbrom and another set of items to the Ejisu community.
 

The 2019 Betway Easter Football Gala tournament is scheduled for 20 April 2019 and will simultaneously take place across four locations in the Greater Accra, Western and Eastern Regions.
 

Betway Ghana held an open event at their Concept Store in Adabraka offering health screenings. The event was extremely successful with residents of Adabraka receiving information on health related issues and a battery of tests from trained medical practitioners.

Betway has hosted their first community basketball tournament continuing their commitment to enriching lives through sport. The event included both a headline basketball tournament and a number of additional crowd-participation events like the 3-pointer shootout.

 

Betway has joined with a number of stakeholders to offer health screenings to the public this World Hypertension Day. The screenings were offered from the company’s concept store in Kumasi.
