FC Barcelona will take on Liverpool FC in the UEFA Champions League semi-final first-leg clash at the Camp Nou on Wednesday, May 1.

Barca eased into the semi-finals after thumping English giants Manchester United 4-0 on aggregate in a quarter-final tie.  

The Spanish giants are enjoying a 10-match unbeaten run in the Champions League having recorded three draws and seven wins.

They are also undefeated in their last 31 home games in the competition having registered three draws and 28 victories.

Barcelona will be looking to secure nothing but a victory over Liverpool at home.

Meanwhile, Liverpool advanced to the semi-finals after hammering Portuguese champions FC Porto 6-1 on aggregate in a quarter-final tie.

The English giants are undefeated in their last five matches in the Champions League having registered four wins and one draw.

They are also unbeaten in their last two away games in the competition having defeated Porto and German giants Bayern Munich.

Liverpool will be hoping to record a positive result against Barcelona away.

The last time Barcelona hosted Liverpool at the Camp Nou was on the 21st of February 2007.

Liverpool beat Barcelona 2-1 in a Champions League match.
