Valentino Rossi will be hoping to clinch his fifth win in Qatar when he competes in the
Doha Grand Prix on April 4.
The Italian legend endured one of his worst seasons in the MotoGP in the 2020 campaign as he finished 15th on the riders' standings.
Rossi has won a record four Qatar Grand Prix titles which he clinched in 2005, 2006, 2010 and 2015.
Retired Australian rider Casey Stoner is the only other rider, who has won four Grand Prix titles in Qatar and Rossi is now eyeing his fifth trophy in the Asian country.

The Qatar Grand Prix which was the opening round of the 2021 season was won by Yamaha's Maverick Vinales on March 28.
Ducati performed well in Qatar as their riders Johann Zarco and Francesco Bagnaia finished second and third respectively.
Yamaha's Rossi finished 12th at the Qatar Grand Prix after struggling all weekend to get endurance out of the soft rear tyre.
The 42-year-old quickly faded from fourth to 12th by the chequered flag – 10.7 seconds adrift of race winner Vinales on the factory team Yamaha.

Rossi was impressed by his teammates Vinales and Fabio Quartararo and he hopes to improve ahead of the Doha Grand Prix.
“Maverick was impressive and he did a fantastic race. It’s positive that the Yamaha won," Rossi said.
"They follow… they have something different in the setting compared to us and it looks that it works much better than us. Also, Quartararo was strong. It’s good to try to understand if we can improve for next week.”
Yamaha are placed at the top of Manufacturers' Championship standings and they are followed by Ducati and Suzuki respectively.
