Alex Rins will be determined to win his first race this season when he competes at the
2022 Portuguese Grand Prix on April 24.
The Suzuki rider was forced to retire from last season's Portuguese Grand Prix after being involved in an accident during the race.
Rins came very close to clinching his maiden victory of the current MotoGP season when he finished second at the United States Grand Prix on April 10.

The 2011 FIM CEV International Championship winner of the Spanish 125GP series beat Ducati rider Jack Miller, who finished third.
The United States Grand Prix was won by Miller's teammate Enea Bastianini and he is placed at the top of the Riders' standings.
Bastianini is followed by Rins and Aprilia's Aleix Espargaró, who are placed second and third respectively on the standings as the race for the 2021 MotoGP world title continues.
Rins, who hails from Barcelona, Spain, will move to the top of the standings if he wins the Portuguese Grand Prix.

"Compared to last year, we have progressed. The new GSX-RR engine has improved, and now we are fast, but we still have a lot to improve," Rins said after the United States Grand Prix.
"We still have some issues to work on, but overall, I'm happy with this result, both for me and for Suzuki in general.
"However, we are still at the beginning of the championship. There are still many races left, so we must continue our work to improve our weaknesses."
Ducati are placed at the top of the Manufacturers' Championship standings and they are followed by KTM and Suzuki respectively.
