Red Bull Racing's Sergio Perez will be determined to get back on the podium at the
Azerbaijan Grand Prix on Sunday, April 30.
The Mexican has already enjoyed some success on the Baku City Circuit after claiming the second victory of his F1 career in Azerbaijan two years ago before taking P2 last season - his third podium finish there.

Perez has emerged as the main challenger to Red Bull team-mate Max Verstappen this year and trails the reigning two-time World Champion by 15 points in second place in the drivers' standings followed by Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso and Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton.
'Checo' recorded his first win of 2023 at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, having secured P2 at the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix. He started the Australian Grand Prix in the pit lane after getting stuck on the gravel during qualifying and eventually finished fifth in a drama-packed race.

Perez described his P5 as "damage limitation" after his issues in qualifying, which saw his RB19 continuously locking up and forcing him on the gravel in the first session. The 33-year-old also admitted the team's confidence was set back by the technical difficulties he experienced.
"It was really bad, very bad weekend. What happened on Saturday, it's totally unacceptable," the 33-year-old said. "We have to get to the bottom of it because I felt that we had a really good weekend up to yesterday (Saturday).
"We worked so hard preparing the Grand Prix and then that just put us back completely we lost all the confidence. And then I think definitely we had the basic fight for the victory today, but finishing in P5 is damage limitation."
