FC Barcelona will do battle with Atletico Madrid in a
Spanish La Liga match at the Spotify Camp Nou on April 23.
Current Form
Barca were held to a 0-0 draw by Getafe CF away on 16 April and they are now undefeated in their last six matches in the league.
Barcelona are also enjoying an 14-match unbeaten run at home having won 11 games and drawn three at the Spotify Camp Nou.
On the other hand, Atletico secured a 2-1 win over UD Almeria at home on April 16 as they extended their unbeaten run to 13 matches in La Liga.
The Mattress Makers are also unbeaten in their last six matches on the road having recorded two draws and four wins as the visitors.
What Is At Stake
Barcelona are still in control in the race for the La Liga title and they are 11 points clear at the top of the league standings.
Barca will be keen to widen the gap at the top by securing a win over Atletico and hope that second-placed Real Madrid drop points against Celta Vigo on April 23.
Atletico, meanwhile, are now in the race for the title as they are placed third on the standings - 13 points behind Barcelona and a win over Barca would reduce the gap to 10 points.
Team News
Ousmane Dembélé, Pedri, Frenkie de Jong and Sergi Roberto are currently injured, but the club has no suspension concerns.
Meanwhile, Atletico have no suspension worries but they will be without two players who are injured namely, Reinildo Mandava and Memphis Depay.
Key Players
With Barcelona have failed to score in their last two league games, all eyes will be on their top scorer Robert Lewandowski who has the ability to single handedly inspire Barca to a win.
Atletico, on the other hand, will look to Aintoine Griezmann who has been in fine form this year having recorded the most assists (eight) in the league and he will be eager to propel his side to a win.

“The pitch held us back. We expected it, we trained on a dry pitch on Saturday. It is difficult to play here and it is not good for the spectacle," Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez said after their clash with Getafe.
"The ball gets stuck, it’s even bad for Getafe. It’s fundamental that the pitch is in good condition. But it is not an excuse and we have to get back on track. A point is not the worst considering how uncomfortable it was.
