KTM's Brad Binder will be looking to continue his good start to the
2024 MotoGP season by winning the Americas MotoGP.
Most recent race
Binder was unable to secure a podium spot at the most recent event on the 2024 calendar which was the Portuguese MotoGP on 24 March.
The Red Bull Factory Racing member started on the 10th grid, but he managed to finish fourth which saw him pick up 13 points.
MotoGP title ambitions
Binder is placed second on the 2024 MotoGP Riders' standings having accumulated 42 points from two races.
The South African star is 18 points behind the leader & Ducati rider Jorge Martin as the duo looks to mount a serious challenge for the MotoGP world championship.
Why Binder could win the 2024 Americas MotoGP
Binder came close to winning the first race of the 2024 MotoGP season which was the Qatar MotoGP and he finished second.
The 2021 Australian MotoGP champion knows that he can only keep up with the current leader, Martin if he wins races.
What did he say?
“When he (Pedro Acosta) passed me he was rolling," Binder said about his KTM teammate after the 2024 Portuguese MotoGP.
“He's really special. When you watch him ride you can see how good he is. "The way he can control the bike and carries a lot of corner speed and picks it up nicely.
“He's a real class act, so hats off to him. He really deserves a podium. Together we can really keep pushing and try to get this whole project going forward."
