The disappointment of missing out UEFA Champions League qualification was overshadowed by FA Cup glory and success in the Community Shield against Manchester City last weekend has further enhanced the mood in Leicester.

"It’s very important [to win]. I grew up watching the Charity Shield. It's the winners of the league and the cup, so to come here, it’s another step for the mentality of the team and we’re delighted with the victory," said Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers following his team's win at Wembley Stadium.

"We’re going to have a meal tonight because we set a date to celebrate the FA Cup win because everyone had been away over the course of the summer," the 48-year-old explained.

"We’ll have a nice meal to celebrate that. This is nice to have there as well and then we’ll rest for the next day or two and then have an exciting week next week ready for the first game."

Leicester have been able to keep hold of all their star players heading into the new season while the signings of Patson Daka, Boubakary SoumarĂ© and Ryan Bertrand have strengthened the Foxes in key areas.

Wolves will be under the guidance of Bruno Lage this season following Nuno Espirito Santo's departure. Goalkeeper Rui Patricio has left Molineux Stadium in favour of AS Roma with fellow countryman Jose Sa brought in to replace Portugal's No.1.

In terms of arrivals, Francisco Trincao has arrived on-loan from Barcelona while  Rayan Ait-Nouri has completed a permanent move to the club.
