All eyes will be on Patrick Cantlay when he tees off at the East Lake Golf Club where he will be keen to retain the
Tour Championship title.
The American star shot a one-under 69 to finish 21 under for the tournament, a solitary stroke ahead of Jon Rahm and he clinched the trophy last year.
Cantlay, who was crowned the 2021 FedEx Cup champion, won the most recent tournament in the current PGA Tour season which was the BMW Championship on Sunday.

The California-born golfer won a thriller Sunday in the BMW Championship, getting a great bounce on the 17th hole that set up a short birdie.
Cantlay then led to a 2-under 69 and a one-shot victory over Scott Stallings and he became the first player to win the tournament back-to-back since the FedEx Cup began in 2007.
It is the 2021 PGA Tour Player of the Year's second win in the current campaign having also won the 2022 Zurich Classic of New Orleans (with Xander Schauffele) in April.
Cantlay is currently placed second on the FedEx Cup standings behind Scottie Scheffler and he wil retain the trophy if he wins the Tour Championship.
“I think it’s a nice pat on the back or carrot at the end," Cantlay said after winning the recent BMW Championship.
"but never anything I’m ever thinking about too seriously when I’m out there doing it.
“I think every time I’ve tried to defend, I don’t think I’ve been able to do it, but it’s something that you definitely circle on your calendar as something you want to do.”
Tiger Woods is the most decorated golfer in the history of the Tour Championship having won the tournament three times.
