Kevin Kisner will be hoping to become the second golfer to win back-to-back
Wyndham Championship titles since Sam Snead.
The American golfer is among the favourites to win this year's tournament and he is currently ranked 28th in the Official World Golf Rankings.
Kisner won the 2021 Wyndham Championship in a six-man sudden-death playoff - winning with a birdie on the second extra hole.
It was the 2018 Open Championship runner-up's fourth win on the PGA Tour since he turned professional in 2006 after graduating from the University of Georgia.
In 2014, Kisner finished sixth at the Wells Fargo Championship, eighth at the Wyndham Championship and ninth at the RBC Canadian Open.
After a number of near misses, the South Carolina-born golfer earned his first PGA Tour win by clinching the 2015 RSM Classic, in his 109th PGA Tour start - winning by six strokes over Kevin Chappell.
Kisner clinched the 2017 Dean & DeLuca Invitational with a one-stroke victory and the 2019 WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play with fellow American Matt Kuchar.
“My first playoff win and to be standing here is pretty sweet," Kisner said after winning the 2021 Wyndham Championship.
"It's a fickle, crazy game that we play. The line is so thin between reward, success and jubilation, to just being distraught leaving here.
"It's just a crazy wave of emotions."
Snead is the most decorated golfer in the history of the Wyndham Championship having won eight titles in 1938, 1946, 1949, 1950, 1955, 1956, 1960 and 1965.
