In what was a disappointing race for Fabio Di Giannantonio at the Czechia MotoGP last time out, the 26-year-old Italian will no doubt hope to correct his mistakes at the
Austrian MotoGP this weekend.
The Ducati rider finished in a lowly P16 at Brno last month and has been without a podium placing since the Italian MotoGP.

After P3 finishes at both the USA and Italian MotoGP, Di Giannantonio currently occupies 5
th position on the driver’s standings with 142 points to his name.
Yet to win a race this season, Giannantonio expressed that he took full responsibility for his performance at the Czechia MotoGP, while he urged his team to bounce back in Austria.
“I’ve been much more precise in my career than this weekend," Giannantonio said.
"Maybe it’s because of the conditions and everything, but I just want to say it’s my responsibility that we didn’t have the package to fight today and overall in the weekend.
“So a pity. But we have a lot of time now to regroup, refocus and work on ourselves.”
“Definitely [a tough weekend]. Let’s get straight to the point. I don’t want to find excuses. For sure, my feeling with the bike was not fantastic. But I want to take all the responsibility because I think the rider is the leader of the team.”
