South Africa’s Louis Liebenberg will look to climb the Order of Merit on the Betway Big Easy Tour when he plays at the Blu Label Unlimited Invitational #4, set for the State Mines Country Club from 18 to 20 August 2026.
Form and Order of Merit:
Liebenberg was last in action at the Betway Big Easy Tour 7 in Soweto earlier this month, coming home in equal 10th place after shooting 73, 71 and 72 (216, Par) across the three rounds.
The South African is placed 10th on the Order of Merit, picking up 32.91 points in Soweto for a total of 282.74 – that’s enough for 10th place on the log, just ahead of the likes of Leon Visser, Toto Thimba Jnr and Simon Du Plooy.
Why Liebenberg could challenge:
Having recently had his breakthrough moment on the Big Easy Tour by winning the tournament in Krugersdorp in July, Liebenberg has the confidence and composure to chase his second title and underline his status as a rising star in the sport.
About the State Mines Country Club:
State Mines Country Club is one of only four championship golf courses within the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan area and is consistently rated amongst the 100 best courses in the country.
Commissioned in 1909 by the State Mines Gold Mining Company as a nine-hole recreational facility for company employees, it was subsequently upgraded to an eighteen-hole course.
