Brooks Koepka will go in search of his first title at the WGC-Mexico / WGC-Workday Championship when the 2021 edition is held at The Concession Golf Course in Bradenton, Florida from 25 to 28 February.

Originally scheduled for Mexico, this tournament has been moved and re-branded for 2021 due to logistical difficulties created by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Koepka comes into the tournament on the back of a below-average showing at the Genesis Invitational in California this past weekend, though the 30-year-old American is more happy that he seems to have shrugged off some niggling injury worries.

“Honestly, yeah, I could care less about the round, my neck's good,” said Koepka over the weekend, who admitted that had a “stiff neck” for the last month and a half until his therapist was able to “pop” it back in place and alleviate the pain after his round.

“One of the guys just did it. It's a miracle. I feel so good right now, I feel so much better than I did this morning. This morning was absolutely brutal.”

The four-time Major winner has already racked up one tournament win in 2021 – claiming the Waste Management Phoenix Open earlier this month. Koepka admitted that he was so frustrated before his win in Arizona that he angrily snapped some clubs at his home.

“I snapped two sets of irons after playing Mexico and then after Torrey, and I don’t really do that,” he explained. “So there was quite a bit of frustration, but at the same time, you’ve just got to stick it out. I felt like my patience is always there. It’s just sometimes results take a little bit longer.”
