The current 2021/22 campaign has seen several players perform well consistently and maintain outstanding displays in the Premier League

Betway selects the best performing players in arguably Europe's most prestigious domestic competition in the current campaign:

With Manchester City's talisman Kevin De Bruyne struggling with injuries this season, Silva has established himself as not only City's best player but one of the best performers in the league this term.

The left-footed playmaker has been able to find the back of the net on a regular basis (seven goals) and only Mohamed Salah and Diogo Jota of Liverpool FC and Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy have scored more league goals than him.

A diminutive, elegant, and creative midfielder, Silva also has one assist this season which has seen him improve his finishing in front of goal having scored three goals in his last two matches including a brace against Watford FC on December 4.

When asked if Silva was among the Premier League's top performers right now, City manager Pep Guardiola simply replied: "The best. When we made 98 points, he was the best too.

"He has a special ability to do what he wants with the ball. If you watch him two or three seasons ago, you will see the same player you are seeing now.

"The goal [against Aston Villa on December 1] was really good, both the pass and the finish. He is a player on another level, in all senses."

The Egypt captain has undoubtedly been the most outstanding player in England's elite league thus far - creating and scoring goals with ease for Premier League title contenders, Liverpool FC.

Salah - a world-class winger, is sitting at the top of the league's scoring and assists charts having impressively hit the back of the net 13 times and created nine goals from 15 matches.

Blessed with amazing finishing ability, mesmerising dribbling skills, and blistering speed, Salah has broken several records this season - including becoming the first player to score in the opening game of five consecutive Premier League seasons.

There's no doubt that Liverpool will stand a good chance of winning their second Premier League title if the 29-year-old hitman, who was named the league's Player of the Month for October, maintains his incredible form.

Chelsea FC have been to maintain their charge for the Premier League title thus far thanks to the form of their academy graduate, Mount, who has been brilliant for the Blues in this season.

The 22-year-old highly-rated player's ability to create and score goals makes him one of the top attacking midfielders in the league having scored the most league goals (five) for Chelsea from eight games thus far this term.

Mount, who impressively grabbed a hat-trick as the London giants hammered Norwch City 7-0 in October, also boasts of the most league assists (four) than any other Blues player - level with Reece James.

Having scored in each of his last two league matches, the England international could be the man to lead the Blues to their sixth Premier League title if he continues to deliver for the team consistently.
