The 2025 AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open will take place in a village in Mauritius located in the Savanne District called Bel Ombre between 18 and 21 December.
What to know about the tournament
The event was established in 2015 and was initially played at the Heritage Golf Club in Bel-Ombre, Mauritius, and it is co-sanctioned by the European Tour (DP World Tour) and Sunshine Tour.
It was formerly part of the Asian Tour and it is sponsored by a Mauritian company, AfrAsia Bank Limited, hence the name, AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open.

The AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open organisers have confirmed that the tournament will return to the Peter Matkovich-designed La Reserve Golf Links for the first time since 2023.
In its first year after opening, La Reserve Golf Links was voted the World’s Best New Golf Course at the 2024 World Golf Awards. Matkovich was also voted the Golf Course Architect of the Year.

The 2025 AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open field is headlined by defending champion John Parry and the likes of Ryan Gerard, Christo Lamprecht, Eugenio Chacarra, and Daniel Brown.
Jayden Schaper, who won the most recent tournament on the 2025 Sunshine Tour schedule, the Alfred Dunhill Championship, will be part of the 156-player field in Mauritius.
Having won two tournaments in the ongoing season, Casey Jarvis will also fancy his chances when he tees off in the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open
What Is At Stake
The 2025 AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open will see golfers compete for a share of the $1,5 million purse, with the 2025 champion receiving around $237,750.
The winner of this event will also receive 3,000 Race to Dubai ranking points and a unique, handcrafted trophy, which was designed by Hubert Privé.
