Louis Oosthuizen joins a strong local contingent for the
Alfred Dunhill Championship as he looks to become only the third player to win the title more than once.
The South African was crowned champion in 2023 after he carded an 18-under 270 to beat Charl Schwartzel by two strokes, denying his compatriot a record fifth victory.
Oosthuizen has been playing on the LIV Golf circuit since 2022 and his team, Stingers GC, finished third in the Championship bracket this season.
The 43-year-old, whose team-mates consist of Dean Burmester, Branden Grace and Schwartzel, achieved two top 10s in 2025, having finished T5 in Singapore and T2 in Dallas.
Oosthuizen's sole victory on the PGA Tour came at the Open Championship in 2010 and the last of his 10 DP World Tour career wins was the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open in 2023.
He has finished runner-up in all four of the Majors - the Masters Tournament in 2012, the US Open in 2015 and 2021, the Open Championship in 2015 and the PGA Championship in 2017 and 2021.
