Following a dominant win over Como during Serie A matchday 14, Inter Milan will hope to keep up with the pace at the top of the pile when they go toe-to-toe with Genoa on Sunday.
With Inter welcoming Como to San Siro on Saturday, all of Lautaro Martinez, Marcus Thuram, Hakan Calhanoglu and Carlos Augusto were on target in a convincing 4-0 win over Como.
Inter have now won four out of their last five league games and have accumulated 30 points from 14 matches played so far. While Inter ended the weekend in second position, third placed AC Milan could topple their old rivals with a win against Torino on Monday night, given their two point difference over Inter and three point gap to leaders Napoli.
Genoa, who will take on Udinese on Monday night, jotted down a 2-1 win against Verona in matchday 13 as they extended their unbeaten run to four matches in the league. As it stands, Genoa are 16th on the standings and could take their tally to 14 points with a win on Monday night.

Speaking after Inter’s win over Como, Inter Milan coach Cristian Chivu expressed that his side could have put on a better performance and that he chooses to see his side’s attitude over goals scored.
“We could have done better,” Chivu said.
“I wouldn’t choose any of the four goals, even if the third one, Calhanoglu’s, really struck me.
“I choose the attitude again, against a team I described as ‘annoying’.”
