Germany’s torrid run in 2018 culminated in their relegation from the
UEFA Nations League’s top division without a ball even being kicked prior to their game against the Netherlands following the Dutch sides victory over the World Champions France last week.

Holland on the other hands are flying high at the minute and soar into Monday’s monstrous clash against Germany off the back of a remarkable run that has seen the Oranje suffer just one defeat in their last eight internationals since being beaten by Gareth Southagate’s England outfit back in March in what was Ronald Koeman’s first game in charge. A win or draw on Monday would cap a fine turnaround in form for the Dutch and see them top the Group ahead of the finals next year.

nd meeting between the pair and Deutschland, with only pride left on the line, will most certainly have revenge on their minds. This will be the Netherlands first visit to Germany since a 3-0 friendly defeat in November 2011.

Depay and Wijnaldum were both on the scoresheet once more in the 2-0 win over France on Friday doubling their respective UEFA Nations League tally’s and are ones to keep an eye again on Monday.
