The Portland Trail Blazers will look to blast the Milwaukee Bucks when the teams meet for an NBA Regular Season game at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon on the morning of Sunday 6 February 2022. Tip-off is at 02:00.
The Trail Blazers find themselves in the lower mid-table in the Western Conference, as they hover around a .400 to .450 record through the campaign. This leaves them needing to up their performance if they are to have hopes of advancing into the Playoffs.

"I think guys are fighting and competing hard, whether there's mistakes or not. We're trying to be aggressive. We're trying to figure it out, and we're going to continue to do that and play the right way, and live with the results," said Norman Powell.
The Bucks, meanwhile, are amongst a group of teams grappling for ascendancy at the top of the Eastern Conference, including the Miami Heat, Chicago Bulls, Brooklyn Nets and Philadelphia 76ers.

“They call these the dog days of the NBA,” forward Bobby Portis said. “Where guys start to think about the all-star break and things like that. I’m trying to just lock my mind into these last games that we have going into the break. Because these are big-time games that we need to put ourselves in a great position.”
He added, “It’s just crazy how things just play out. I know about four or five years ago everyone was talking about the West and how tough the West was. It’s the wild, wild West. You got to win 50 games to get into the playoffs. You win 50 games sometimes and teams don’t even make it in the West. For it to kind of flip to be on the East, all the teams are just jockeying for position.”
In head-to-head stats, the Trail Blazers and the Bucks have met in 129 Regular Season games since 1970-71, with Milwaukee claiming 77 wins compared to 52 for Portland. The teams’ last Regular Season meeting was in April 2021 and saw the Bucks claim a 127-109 away win thanks to 47 points from Giannis Antetokounmpo.
