Villarreal CF will square off with RCD Espanyol in a
Spanish La Liga match at the Estadio de la Cerámica on February 27.
The Yellow Submarine hammered Granada 4-1 in their previous league game which was played on February 19.
As a result, Villarreal are now unbeaten in their four matches in this competition having registered three victories and one draw.

The Yellow Submarine are also undefeated in their six home games in La Liga having recorded two draws and four wins at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
“We have set up and will set up in La Liga, from Matchday 1 until 38, by using it the main path to try and get our aim to get into Europe," Villarreal manager Unai Emery said as he reflected on their win over Granada.
"We are focused on trying to perform at our best every game, and be consistent, while respecting our opponents. Granada are a team, who, with their public, find themselves with goalscoring chances on a number of occasions.
"In the second half, they came out with the idea of going for us. When we found the third goal, they lost their hope a bit. We worked hard to stop Granada’s strengths. We needed to know how to dig in and how to defender. It’s another part of football."

Meanwhile, Espanyol fought back to hold Sevilla FC to a 1-1 draw at home in their last league match which was played on February 20.
The defeat extended the White and Blues' winless run to six matches in this competition having recorded three draws and three defeats.
Espanyol are also winless in their last two matches on the road in La Liga having registered one draw and one defeat as the visitors.
The last meeting between Villarreal and Espanyol in a league match was on 21 August 2021.
The two teams played to a 0-0 draw in an encounter that was played at the RCDE Stadium, also known as Estadi Cornellà-El Prat.
