Jayson Tatum will be hoping to inspire the Eastern Conference All-Stars to a first victory over the Western Conference All-Stars since 2014 at the at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on the morning of Monday, February 19.
The Boston Celtics star scored a record 55 points for Team Giannis last year as they beat Team LeBron 184-175 in the last draft format of the
NBA All-Star Game, which had been put in place in 2018.
The NBA brought back the original format for 2024 and Doc Rivers will be looking to end a decade of dominance for West as head coach of the East.
Tatum, who was named 2023 NBA All-Star Game MVP, is averaging 27.3 points, 8.6 rebounds and 4.7 assists this season to help the Celtics to the top of the Eastern Conference with a record of 42-12.

The small forward etched his name into Boston folklore on Wednesday, February 14 when he dropped 41 points in a 118-110 win over Brooklyn Nets to set a new franchise record with his 128th career 30-point game, surpassing the legendary Larry Bird.
NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley recently claimed the Celtics aren't tough enough to win a championship and Tatum responded to those comments in an appearance on CBS Mornings.
"You have to give the respect," he said. "Those are the guys that paved the way for the younger players like myself. You don't always have to agree, but you have to, in a sense, respect the work that they put in.
"And I understand that in the times that we're in, nobody can win a championship until you do it, so nobody's going to give us the credit until we actually do it, and that's fine.
"We don't necessarily pay attention to the outside noise. There's a group of us in that locker room that go to war with each other every day, and we're up for the challenge."
