Meanwhile, Salernitana extended their winless run to six matches in the Serie A when they succumbed to a 3-1 loss to Empoli FC at home on 9 February.

Team News
Inter will be without Juan Cuadrado, Davide Frattesi, Francesco Acerbi and Stefano Sensi who are all on the club's injury list, but the Big Grass Snake have no suspension issues.
On the other hand, Federico Fazio, Norbert Gyomber, Triantafyllos Pasalidis and Niccolo Pierozzi are all part of Salernitana's injury list while Domagoj Bradarić is suspended.
“Roma had such a good start to the half and we conceded two avoidable goals in situations we had worked on in training. However, the second half confirmed these lads are extraordinary," Inter Milan assistant manager Massimiliano Farris said after his side's win over Roma.
“After the restart, we tried to use greater mobility to create that numerical superiority we needed to cause Roma problems. The input we gave them was to find the positions of the midfielders and make the most of the wing-backs.
"This forced Roma to stretch out and they struggled on the wings. It was not easy. “We raised our level and these are extraordinary players who at the first sign of trouble were able to turn it around."
Inter hammered Salernitana 4-0 in their last meeting in Serie A which was on 30 September 2023 at the Stadio Arechi.
As a result, the Big Grass Snake are unbeaten in their last five matches in the league against the Garnets having registered four wins and one draw.
