2025-26 NBA Regular Season
Oklahoma City Thunder v Houston Rockets
Paycom Center
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Saturday 7 February 2026
Tip-off at 20:30
Oklahoma City Thunder will be looking to rediscover their early-season form when they host Houston Rockets at the Paycom Center on the evening of Saturday, February 7.
The Thunder set a new franchise record with a run of 16 straight wins as they went 24-1 at the start of the campaign to comprehensively lead the way in the Western Conference.
Mark Daigneault's team lost just five games before the turn of the year, but their form dipped in January as they were beaten six times to put a dent in their sparkling record - still the best in the NBA this term.
Oklahoma City went 39-11 with a 121-111 victory over Denver Nuggets on February 2 thanks to another brilliant performance from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who posted 34 points and 13 assists.

Daigneault addressed the impact made by Gilgeous-Alexander this season, with the point guard averaging 32 points and 6.4 assists per game.
"I think the playoffs do that (force him to become a better playmaker) and I think that's where some of the lessons he's learned over time have come from those playoff series and the way that teams are just going to make him give it up sometimes," Daigneault said.
"He's found a really appropriate blend that he's had all year, but it was definitely on display today with finding his spots to attack and be aggressive and control parts of the game as he did in the second and third quarters tonight. And also get it off early and activate everybody else."
Houston have strengthened their position in the Western Conference's top six after winning eight of their last 10 games to sit fourth in the standings.
Ime Udoka's team improved their record to 31-17 with a 118-114 win against Indiana Pacers on February 3 - their third victory on the spin - which saw Alperen Sengun match his season-high scoring with 39 points, 16 rebounds and five assists.

Commenting on Sengun's performance, Udoka said: "Aggressive from the start, it's not always about made or missed shots. He got the same great looks and cashed them in tonight.
"But obviously he felt a bit better, had a little more bounce in his step, attacked the match-ups and made the right plays. And so obviously we were struggling at times in the first, overall as a unit, and I think he kept us afloat until everybody else kind of caught up and got on board."
