Fulham out to retain Premier League status

Fulham will be looking to return their status in the Premier League after gaining promotion from the Championship.
 
The Cottagers showed great character to bounce back to the English top-flight league having been relegated from the competition at the end of the 2018/19 season.
 
Coached by retired English central midfielder Scott Parker, Fulham secured promotion after winning the 2019/20 Championship playoffs final.

Joseph Bryan was the hero for the Cottagers as his brace inspired the team to a 2-1 win over Brentford at the Wembley Stadium.
 
Prior to that, Aleksandar Mitrovic had played an instrumental role in helping Fulham finish fourth on the Championship standings.

The Serbian hitman impressively hit the back of the net 26 times in the league and he walked away with the Golden Boot award.
 
The Cottagers will once again look to Mitrovic, who scored 11 goals in 37 league matches during the team's last season in the elite league.
 
The club has extended Neeskens Kebano's contract after the Congolese midfielder impressed towards the end of the recent campaign.

Kebano, who netted six goals in Fulham's last five matches, is looking forward to playing in the Premier League.
 
“First of all, I’d like to thank the Club for giving me this opportunity to extend my contract. It has been a long journey since we started the season," Kebano said.
 
"We have been playing for over a year. We’ve been working very hard which has paid off with promotion to the Premier League. 
 
“I’m delighted for the team, the staff and the supporters, we’ve remained together which has brought us to where we are now. I have a lot of affection for this club, for the fans," he added.
 
"So it’s natural this decision to sign a contract when this opportunity was offered to me, and I’m very happy to be here for a couple of more seasons."
