Rodrygo, the Madrid winger, says he hopes to continue scoring goals in the Champions League after finding the back of the net against Inter.
"It was a really tough game against a side that's very hard to play against. All of the games in the Champions League are like that," Rodrygo said.
"We dug in, but we were always prepared and we got the win, which is the most important thing. I hope to continue scoring goals.
"Every time I play in the Champions League it's always a special night, as it was night, and I hope to keep it up in every game."
The last time Inter hosted Madrid in a competitive game was on 25 November 1998.
Inter secured a 3-1 win over Madrid in the UEFA Champions League match in Milan.
