Watford FC were relegated from the Premier League having caused the biggest upset of the 2019/20 season.
 
Their shock 3-0 victory over an unbeaten Liverpool FC side on 29 February 2020 saw the Hornets make history. 
 
This was the biggest victory for a side in the relegation zone against the team top of the table and a certain Ismaila Sarr was the catalyst for Watford's win.
 
Sarr grabbed a brace and an assist as the Hornets handed Liverpool its first defeat of the season and ending the club's 27-match unbeaten run.

The Senegal international went on to finish the campaign with five goals and he also registered four assists in what was a dream debut in the Premier League.
 
Sarr had joined the Hornets from French club Stade Rennais in a big-money move after impressing in the Ligue 1 and also helped the team clinch the Coupe de France.

The transfer fee paid to Rennes was a club record for Watford and reported as "in the region of £30 million and he scored his first goal for Watford in a Carabao Cup tie against Coventry City on 27 August 2019.
 
A lanky winger blessed with blistering pace and sublime dribbling skills, Sarr has proved that he has Big Match Temperament (BMT). 
 
The former FC Metz player also found the back of the net as the Hornets stunned Manchester United 2-0 in a league clash on 22 December 2019.

Premier League clubs Liverpool and Crystal Palace are reportedly keen to sign Sarr, who still has four seasons left on his contract with Watford.
 
However, the highly-rated 22-year-old player has indicated that he is open to playing in the Championship and he is also enjoying playing with the Hornets' captain Troy Deeney.
 
 "Playing the Champions League is a dream for all players," Sarr was quoted as saying on the Watford Observer. 
 
"I have already had the pleasure of playing in the Europa League so if these teams want to have me in their squads, let them discuss it with Watford and find an agreement, I would not say no.
 
"Our captain is a really good person. He is very nice to everyone. In the field, when we make mistakes, he comes to us and helps us stop making mistakes with advice and encouragement."
