Milwaukee Bucks are expected to make short work of Eastern Conference strugglers Detroit Pistons when they meet at the Little Caesars Arena on the evening of Saturday, January 20.
The Bucks are flying high in the east with a record of 28-12 and they are three games behind Boston Celtics (31-9) in the race to finish as top seeds for the playoffs.
Adrian Griffin's team lost four of their first five games in the New Year, but they beat Sacramento Kings in overtime on January 15 to make it three wins on the spin.
Damian Lillard sunk a 3-point buzzer beater to clinch a stunning 143-142 victory over the Kings as he finished with 29 points, while Giannis Antetokounmpo added 27 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

Lillard revealed that he was meant to inbound the ball to Antetokounmpo, but gave it to Brook Lopez instead. He received the ball back and dribbled across half court before hitting the 2,500th 3-pointer of his career from about 30 yards out.
"Two guys ran to Giannis and as soon as I looked up Brook was already running toward me and I knew that was what the play was going to get to eventually," the Bucks point guard said.
"I just changed direction and got into space where I could get a good look at the rim. It was a pretty comfortable shot. These are the kinds of game that you don't want to let them slip. It's a quality win against a good team."
The Pistons have the worst record in the NBA this season (4-36), although they arrested a seven-game losing streak with a rare 129-117 win against Washington Wizards on January 15.
Monty Williams' team tied an NBA record 28-game skid at the end of 2023 before edging Toronto Raptors 129-127 on December 31.
The Central Division outfit have continued to show some fight and Alec Burks stepped off the bench to match a career-high 34 points against the Wizards, which included 8-12 from the 3-point line.
"We've had an unreal losing streak this year, and I don't think I've ever seen our guys consistently go in the tank," Williams said. "Everyone's all in and wants to see each other do well."
