After stumbling in their most recent Serie A outing, AC Milan will now zoom in on Bologna with a clash at Renato Dall’Ara next Tuesday.
As the nearest competitors to table toppers Inter Milan, Milan have now fallen five points from the summit after recording a 1-1 draw with AS Roma at Stadio Olimpico on Sunday.
Milan took the lead through Koni De Winter in the 62nd minute, only to be neutralized by Lorena Pellegrini 12 minutes later, who levelled the scoring from the penalty spot. The Italian giants have noted two wins and three draws in their last five league games, with 47 points to their name after 22 matches played.
As for Bologna, Rossoblù jotted down a 3-2 defeat against Genoa on Sunday as they remained in eighth place with 30 points to their name at this stage of the campaign.
Overall, Bologna battled to yield positive results recently, with three defeats, one draw and the single victory in their previous five Serie A assignments.

With Milan’s draw with Roma in view, Massimiliano Allegri took positives from the match after they gained a point on the Serie A log.
"Once we had taken the lead, the match seemed to be on track, but these incidents can happen,” Allegri said.
"We leave with a positive result, as coming to the Olimpico and getting a point at this stage of the season is very important.
"We gained a point on Napoli and maintained Roma at the same distance they were before."
