Reigning Serie A champions Napoli will take on Verona in their latest league assignment and will hope to keep up with the pace set by the likes of AC Milan and Inter Milan at the top of the pile.
In what was one of the most talked about matches across Europe this past weekend, Napoli recorded a 2-0 win over Lazio on Sunday in a game where both Tijjani Noslin and Pasquale Mazzocchi saw red before the final whistle.
Napoli are currently third on the table, two points behind log leaders Inter Milan and recorded four wins and one defeat in their last five Serie A games.
As for Verona, the Veneto side suffered a damaging 3-0 loss against Torino on Sunday and will go into their next game sitting in 18th position.
Verona have now jotted down two consecutive losses while their overall form sheet reads at two wins and three defeats in their previous handful of fixtures.

Speaking after Napoli’s win over Lazio, Antonio Conte expressed his happiness at his players showcasing ‘great signs’ against top opposition as they hope to defend the 2025/26 Serie A crown.
“I have to congratulate the lads, playing with this level of technical ability and physical strength without letting Lazio play is not easy. We played a game of a very high level of quality,” Conte said.
“Maybe we’re lacking a bit of selfishness because we’re creating so much, but I’m really happy given what’s happened to us with all the injuries and absences.
“We’re showing great signs, the victories are coming against great teams who play with quality.
