Brazil will be out to reclaim their crown as kings of South America when they face Peru in the 2019 Copa America final on Sunday 7 July.
The match is set for the Estadio do Maracana in Rio de Janeiro, with kick-off at 20:00.
Hosts Brazil need this victory to restore their status as one of the world’s greats, having failed to win a World Cup since 2002 and the Copa since 2007.
They appear to have done all the hard work by overcoming great rivals and title threats Argentina in the semifinals, but they would do well not to underestimate the potency of Peru.
Los Incas may only have made it through to the knockout rounds as a third-place finisher from Group A, but since then they have eliminated Uruguay and two-time reigning champions Chile.
The defeat of La Roja was particularly impressive, with Peru claiming an emphatic 3-0 triumph thanks to goals from Edison Flores, Yoshimar Yotun and Paolo Guerrero.
