Arsenal will be looking to end the US leg of their pre-season tour in style when they lock horns with Premier League rivals Chelsea in the
Florida Cup on Sunday, July 24.
The Gunners arrived in the United States last week for three friendlies and they beat Everton 2-0 in Baltimore last weekend to make it two wins from two in pre-season following their 5-3 victory over FC Nurnberg in Germany.
Next up for Mikel Arteta's side is a Clash of Nations encounter with Orlando City on Thursday before they conclude the USA leg of their pre-season tour against the Blues three days later.
The north Londoners last faced their city neighbours in the Premier League on April 20 and came away with a 4-2 success at Stamford Bridge, which was their fourth derby triumph in five meetings, having lost 2-0 in the reverse fixture at the Emirates Stadium on August 22.
Gabriel Martinelli still sees plenty of room for improvement after they saw off the Toffees and the Brazilian forward is looking to finish the week undefeated before heading to Italy.
"It was a hard game. We knew that they have a really good team, they are preparing the team as well for the Premier League and we tried to do our best and I think we deserved the win," Martinelli said.
"We are improving, but there's a big gap of improvement still to happen, but we will try to get there and try to win all the games."
