2023 John Deere Classic is set to place at the TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois, USA between 6 and 9 July.
What to know about the tournament
This will be the 52nd edition of the event which was formed in 1971 and was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
When the tournament began it was a "satellite event" on the PGA Tour. It became an official tour event in 1972 with Deane Beman winning the trophy.

The tournament organizers have announced that John Deere has signed a multi-year extension as the title sponsor of the John Deere Classic ahead of the 2023 event.
The announcement was made at the tournament’s annual media day at TPC Deere Run. John Deere is one of the PGA TOUR’s longest-running title sponsors dating back to 1998.

J.T Poston is the defending champion having won the 2022 John Deere Classic as the American golfer became the 51st winner of the tournament.
Poston, Ludvig Aberg, Sepp Straka, Cameron Young, Chris Kirk and Seamus Power are among the favourates to win the 2023 John Deere Classic.
What Is At Stake
The 2023 John Deere Classic winner will earn 500 FedEx Cup points and 36 Official World Golf Ranking points, with the points available based on field strength.
The tournament boasts a purse of $7,4 million and the winner of the event will earn their share of $1,332 million.
