Marco Bezzecchi will be eager to bounce back strongly by winning the German MotoGP after losing the championship lead.

The former Sky Racing Team VR46 rider had a difficult Netherlands MotoGP at Assen on 28 June, crashing out early while running near the front.
Therefore, the DNF handed the championship lead to his Aprilia Racing teammate, Jorge Martín.

Bezzecchi sits second in the 2026 MotoGP Riders’ standings with 186 points.
The 27-year-old trails championship leader Jorge Martín by just seven points and the duo are set to compete for the top spot at the Sachsenring.
