France out to dominate Denmark

2018 FIFA World Cup

France v Denmark

Group C
Moscow, Russia
Thursday June, 26
Kick-off is at 16:00 (CAT)

France will fight against Denmark in search of their third win in the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday, June 26 when they meet Denmark in a Group C match at Luzhiniki stadium.

France out to dominate Denmark

The Les Bleus have been on form in the group stages as they managed to secure the full six points out of two matches.

In their opening match, they met Australia whom they handed a 2-1 defeat and then beat Peru 1-0 in their second tie.

Sitting at the top with six points sees them heading to the knockout stages, but they will want to avoid a loss in the group.

Coming to the Danes, Denmark are also doing well, but have only managed a single win so far and a draw in the tournament.

France out to dominate Denmark

They opened against Peru and won 1-0, but were held by the resilient Australian side. The results leave them placed second in the group with four points.

The Danes will reach the next stage of the tournament if Peru beats the Aussies and they fall to the French, but a win for Australia will not be good news for them especially if they lose to Didier Deschamp’s men.

A win for Australia will take them to four points, level with the Danes, but the second team progressing to the Last 16 will be determined via the goal difference.

The two European countries will meet for the 14th time on Tuesday and the 1998 champions hope to bag their ninth win whilst Denmark will target their fifth.
