AFCON 2019: Ghana set sights on fifth title

Ghana are set to take part in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals which will be hosted by Egypt.

The Black Stars, who are coached by local tactician Kwesi Appiah, will be making their 22nd appearance in the competition.
 
They have been drawn against Cameroon, Guinea-Bissau and Benin in Group F.

Ghana's first match will be against Benin at the Ismailia Stadium on June 25. Kick-off is at 20h00.
 
An encounter against the defending champions Cameroon will then follow at the same venue on June 29. Kick-off is at 17h00.
 
The Black Stars' last group match will be against Guinea-Bissau at the Suez Stadium on July 2. Kick-off is at 16h00.

The top two teams from the group will book their places in the round of 16 of the 24-team tournament.
 
While the best four third-placed teams will also advance to the knockout phase.
 
Ghana have won the AFCON title four times and they have set their sights on winning their fifth trophy this year.
