Czech Republic will go head to head with Denmark in the UEFA EURO quarter-final match at the Baku Olympic Stadium on July 3. 
 
The Locomotive caused an upset when they claimed a 2-0 victory over the Netherlands in their previous game which was played on June 27.
 
The win ended the Czech Republic's two-match winless run across all competitions having registered one draw and one defeat.

Tomas Soucek, the Czech Republic captain, believes they will go far in the tournament after leading his troops to a win over the Netherlands. 
 
"I'm very proud. We were saying a long time ago that we have great chemistry and that we believe in ourselves to go far, and today we showed it," Soucek said.

"It's a huge success and I believe that it's not the end. We are happy that we believed in ourselves, and thank you to those who did too.
 
"I always say, us Czechs, we are not made of individuals, we are built as a team. And then from this team, the individuals are made after."

Meanwhile, Denmark secured an emphatic 4-0 victory over Wales in their last match which took place on June 26.
 
As a result, the Danish Dynamite are undefeated in their last two matches across all competitions having recorded two successive victories. 
 
The last meeting between the Czech Republic and Denmark was on 16 November 2016.
 
The two teams played to a 1-1 draw in an international friendly match that was played at the Lokotrans Aréna in Mladá Boleslav, Czech Republic.
