Renate Paratore will be determined to clinch his second Scandinavian Mixed title when he competes in Stockholm, Sweden.
The Italian golfer won this tournament in 2017 when it was still known as Nordea Masters and it was his maiden win on the
European PGA Tour.
Paratore, who is currently ranked 177th in the Official World Golf Rankings, has competed in the last two U.S Open tournaments.
The Rome-born golfer became the first player in European Tour history to score a four on every hole in July 2015 at the Open de France.
Paratore, who made his European Tour debut in December 2014 at the Alfred Dunhill Championship in South Africa, won his second title in the European Tour last year.
The 24-year-old clinched the Betfred British Masters by three strokes over Rasmus Højgaard after converting his 54-hole lead to run out a convincing winner.
Paratore will now be looking to win his third title on the European Tour when he competes at the Vallda Golf & Country Club.
The 2014 Youth Olympics Gold medalist is impressed with how the European Tour are organizing and running tournaments amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
"For me, the European Tour have done a really great job. It is not easy to come back to tournaments with this situation," Paratore said.
"And they have been good with the restrictions at the golf course and the hotel. It is not easy because you have to do golf club-to-hotel, then hotel-to-golf club.
"But we have to do this for the benefit of the Tour and to play more events."
Lee Westwood and Colin Montgomerie are the most decorated players in the history of the Scandinavian Masters having won three titles each.
