Collin Morikawa will be hoping to record his first win of the 2021-22 PGA Tour season when he competes at the
Memorial Tournament.
The American star remains one of the best golfers in the world despite having won his last tournament on the PGA Tour in July last year.
Morikawa clinched the 2021 Open Championship at Royal St George's Golf Club as he won by two strokes over Jordan Spieth and it remains his last win on the PGA Tour.

The Los Angeles-born golfer is familiar with the Muirfield Village Golf Club as he won last year's WGC-Workday Championship at the same venue.
Morikawa, who is ranked fourth on the Official World Golf Rankings, finished T-48 in his Memorial debut in 2020 and lost to Patrick Cantlay in a playoff last year.
His Memorial Tournament scoring average moved to 71.38 and his earnings jumped to 1,037,539.00 after his 2021 performance.
In February, Morikawa shot a final-round 65 at the 2022 Genesis Invitational to finish tied second; two shots behind Joaquín Niemann and he will be keen to end his trophy drought this weekend.

"It’s huge. I don’t think it will define everything about who I am if I never get there,” Morikawa said recently on GOLF’s Subpar about how important it is for him to reach world number one.
"But it’s a huge goal for me, because it means I’m doing a lot of things right. Being world No. 1 is pretty much defining that.
“I’m doing everything right. I’m doing all that on the course right, I’m winning, I’m contending. It’s an accumulation of everything put together.”
Tiger Woods is the most successful golfer in the history of the Memorial Tournament having won the tournament a record five times.
