World No.4 Rafael Nadal will be targeting his third Glam Slam title of the year at the Wimbledon Championships, which kicks off on June 27.

The Spaniard has been a revelation since making his return from a chronic foot problem at the start of 2022, winning the Australian Open and the French Open.

Nadal has won four of the seven tournaments he's competed in this year, narrowly missing out on a fifth title after losing to Taylor Fritz in the final of the ATP Masters 1000 Indian Wells.

The 36-year-old has conquered the London grass on two occasions, in 2008 and 2010, the latter of which he considers to be his best year on the court after also emerging triumphant at Roland Garros and the US Open.

Nadal underwent treatment on his foot after the French Open last month and received anesthetic injections for two weeks straight, something he is hoping to avoid at Wimbledon.

"Wimbledon is a priority, it always has been. If I am able to play with anti-inflammatories, yes," he said.
