Sao Tome and Principe will battle it out with Nigeria in a 2023
Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier at the Stade d'Agadir on June 13.
The Falcons and True Parrots Team suffered a 5-1 defeat to Guinea-Bissau away in their last competitive match which was the 2023 AFCON qualifier on June 9.
Therefore, Sao Tome are winless in their last two competitive matches having recorded one draw with Mauritius before losing to Guinea-Bissau.
The Falcons and True Parrots Team defeated Mauritius in their last home game in the AFCON qualifiers and the loss ended their three-match winless run as the hosts.
Meanwhile, Nigeria claimed a 2-1 win over Sierra Leone at home in their last competitive game which was the 2023 AFCON qualifier on June 9.
The win ended the Super Eagles' three-match winless run in competitive games having registered two consecutive draws and one defeat which came against Tunisia.
The three-time African champions are unbeaten in their last six matches on the road in the AFCON qualifiers having registered two draws and four wins as the visitors.

"We were better than Sierra Leone in this game, we deserve to win," Nigeria coach Jose Peseiro told reporters. .
"We changed the setup in the second half. I think it was only the last 10 minutes our opponent had some good moments
“We created a lot of scoring chances, we could have won with a bigger margin, but the team needs more time and we must work.”
This will be the first-ever meeting between Sao Time and Nigeria.
