Brad Binder will be keen to win the
2023 Italian MotoGP for the first time when he takes part in the historic race.

The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider finished sixth at the recent 2023 French MotoGP on May 14.
Binder, who won the 2016 Moto3 World Championship, finished sixth after being forced wide at the race start and dropping to 16th position before fighting back.
2022 Italian MotoGP
The South African Grand Prix motorcycle racer finished seventh at the 2022 Italian MotoGP having started 16th on the grid.
Binder's best performance in this race came in 2021 when he finished fifth in what was his maiden appearance in the event.

Why Binder could win the 2023 Italian MotoGP
The 27-year-old is placed third on the Riders' standings having narrowly missed out on the 2023 Spanish MotoGP title as he finished second on April 30.
Binder is very much in the battle for this season's MotoGP world championship and he has what it takes to win the Italian MotoGP in order to boost his ambitions.
What did he say?
“I had a really good feeling for the race and had a fantastic start, but unfortunately in Turn 4, someone hit the side of me, and I went from sixth-seventh all the way back outside the top 20,” said Binder after the 2023 French MotoGP.
“A tough one and then a tough fight to come through. I chipped away slowly but surely until I got an amazing slipstream on (teammate) Jack (Miller) and overshot the mark into Turn 9.
“I had to make a decision to save it and just shot across the inside of the chicane. I didn’t drop back far enough and from that mistake I had a long lap penalty," he continued.
“If bad luck comes in ‘threes’ then I think I spent them this race. It was important to keep my head down then and bring the bike home.”
