Miami Heat will square off with Denver Nuggets in the
National Basketball Association (NBA) Finals Game Three on June 8.
How they reached the finals
The Heat booked their place in the finals after defeating joint-record 17-time NBA champions Boston Celtic 4-3 in the Eastern Conference Finals series.
Meanwhile, the Nuggets proved too strong for the Los Angeles Lakers as they emerged as 4-0 winners in the Western Conference Finals series.
As things stand
The Finals series is tied at 1-1 as the Nuggets fell just narrowly to the Heat, 111-108, in Game Two which took place at the Ball Arena on June 5.
Prior to that, the Nuggets had emerged as 104-93 winners against the Heat in Game One which was also held at the Ball Arena on June 2.
Team news
The Heat will be without Tyler Herro (hand injury) and Victor Oladipo (knee injury), and it is unclear whether Caleb Martin (illness) and Cody Zeller (foot injury) will be available.
The Nuggets, on the other hand, will be without Collin Gillespie as the 23-year-old point guard is nursing a leg injury coming into Game Three.

"Let's talk about effort. This is NBA Finals, we are talking about effort; that's a huge concern of mine," Nuggets head coach Michael Malone said after Game Two.
"To me, the wheels really fell off to start that fourth quarter. They were getting whatever they wanted, threes, layups, and that allowed them once again to sit back in their zone offense, slow the game down,
"And we had a hard time getting stops, and then we had a hard time getting made baskets on the other end," he continued.
"Our defense has to be a hell of a lot better. That's two fourth quarters, game one and game two, where our fourth-quarter defense has been nonexistent."
