Francesco Bagnaia will be determined to make it four victories in a row in the Dutch MotoGP when he competes in one of his favourite races.

The Ducati Lenovo Team rider failed to secure a podium spot at the Italian MotoGP on June 22, the most recent event on the 2025 MotoGP calendar.
Bagnaia started second on the grid and went on to finish fourth, while also finishing third in the sprint race, which saw him collect 20 points from the event.
MotoGP title ambitions
The former Honda rider is still placed third in the 2025 MotoGP Riders' standings, having collected 160 points from nine races.
Bagnaia is 70 points behind second-placed Alex Marquez of Ducati and 110 points behind the leader, Marc Marquez of Ducati.
Why Bagnaia could win the 2025 Dutch MotoGP
The 28-year-old has looked unstoppable when he competes at the TT Circuit Assen in the last three years, as he emerged victorious in the Dutch MotoGP three times.
The 2025 American MotoGP victory remains Bagnaia's only win in the current season and he will be keen to change this as he returns to Assen.
What did he say?
“Today, in front of this incredible crowd, I gave it everything. When I tried to set the pace at the front, I nearly crashed at the final corner," Bagnaia said after the 2025 Italian MotoGP.
"Unfortunately, when the front-end grip drops, I don’t have enough support and I struggle more. I need to stay a few tenths behind the rider in front, then quickly close the gap and try a pass — otherwise I risk losing the front.
"I have to accept that this is the situation for now and keep working with the team to find a solution, while always giving it my all.”
