Charles Leclerc will be determined to register his maiden win of the 2025 Formula One World Championship season by clinching the
Canadian Grand Prix.

The Ferrari driver claimed a podium spot at the Spanish Grand Prix on June 1, the most recent race on the 2025 Formula One World Championship calendar.
Leclerc started on the seventh grid and went on to finish third, achieving his 46th podium in Formula One, while also accumulating 15 points from the race.
Formula One title ambitions
The former Prema Racing driver is placed fifth in the World Drivers' Championship standings, having accumulated 94 points.
Leclerc is 17 points behind fifth-placed George Russell of Mercedes and 92 points behind leader Oscar Piastri of McLaren.
Why Leclerc could win the 2025 Canadian Grand Prix
The man nicknamed "il Predestinato" has been consistent lately, securing podium spots in back-to-back races in Monaco (second place) and Spain (third place).
il Predestinato, who finished third in the 2018 Canadian Grand Prix, has what it takes to win this weekend's race, having won eight races in his Formula One career.
What did he say?
"Yesterday, I knew that I was sacrificing qualifying in order to have a better race on Sunday, but I didn’t expect to find myself standing on the podium, so I’m happy about that," Leclerc said after the 2025 Spanish Grand Prix.
"The first two stints were really positive today, the last stint on the Medium was a bit more tricky, but then we had the Safety Car that gave us the opportunity to fit Soft tyres again and we took advantage of it.
"We still have a lot of work to do and are not yet as fast as we want to be, but now we head home to reset and push to come back stronger in the coming races."
