Mercedes' George Russell will be looking to build on his first victory of the season when Formula One returns to Spielberg for the Austrian Grand Prix on Sunday, June 29.
The Brit has only finished outside the points once in 10 races this year - P11 in the Monaco Grand Prix - while he's stood on the podium five times.
Russell win in the Canadian Grand Prix was his first since Las Vegas in 2024 and his consistent performances have allowed the Silver Arrows to remain second in the World Constructors' Championship standings behind McLaren.
The 27-year-old driver closed the gap to Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen to 19 points in fourth place after staying ahead of the Dutchman for a majority of the 70-lap race in Montreal, with team-mate Andrea Kimi Antonelli completing the podium in P3.
Russell has doubts about being able to challenge McLaren on the European tracks over the next six rounds after admitting they benefited from the cooler conditions in Canada.
Asked whether anything fundamental had changed for Mercedes, he replied: "No, it's a little bit cooler around here - we saw it last year here in Canada.
"I'd love to get our hopes up but I think the strength of our car is in these cooler conditions. Let's see going into the upcoming races, but we'll just enjoy it for now.
"Time will tell. I mean we won Austria last year so maybe that's a good omen, but we'll enjoy it for the time being. We did have high expectations coming into this weekend and it worked out as we thought."
