What Derrick Köhn Can Bring to the 2026 World Cup
Derrick Köhn could bring Bundesliga experience, left-sided balance and attacking support to Ghana’s 2026 World Cup squad. His club career across Germany, the Netherlands and Turkey gives him experience in different tactical systems.
His strengths suit tournament football because he can progress the ball from deep, support attacks with overlapping runs and recover defensively in wide areas. His left-footed profile gives Ghana a natural option on the left side of defence.
