Juventus, Inter face tough games in Serie A title race

A clash between Juventus and Lazio at the Allianz Stadium will headline matchday 26 of the 2020/21 Italian Serie A season.  
 
This will be the 66th meeting between the two teams across all competitions since 1993 and it will take place on March 6.
 
Defending Serie A champions Juventus have the upper hand having recorded 35 wins compared to Lazio's 17 victories, while 13 games ended in a draw.
 
The last meeting between the two teams was on 8 November 2020 and the Serie A encounter ended in a 1-1 draw at the Stadio Olimpico.

Wojciech Szczęsny, the Juventus goalkeeper, feels that the team needs to improve despite their 3-0 win over Spezia on March 2. 
 
"I’ll take the result this evening," Szczęsny said.
 
"But we certainly must improve and understand the importance of this period because the whole season will be defined by our next few games. 
 
"We have a fantastic squad with clear ideas about what we need to do, also thanks to what the coach gets across to us.”
 
Meanwhile, Serie A log leaders, Inter Milan are set to welcome Atalanta at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on March 8.  
 
The two teams will clash for the 46th time across all competitions with Inter having dominated this rivalry.
 
Inter have registered 23 victories compared to Atalanta's nine victories, while 13 matches ended in a draw.

Atalanta held Inter to a 1-1 draw in the last meeting between the two teams which was a Serie A match at the Gewiss Stadium on 8 November 2020.
 
Lastly, title contenders AC Milan will travel to the Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi where they are scheduled to face Hellas Verona on March 7.
 
This will be the 21st competitive meeting between the two teams since 1996 and Milan have been dominant.
 
Milan have claimed nine victories compared to Verona's four wins, while seven matches ended in a draw.
 
Verona held Milan to a 2-2 draw in the last meeting between the two teams which was a Serie A game at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on 8 November 2020.
