Juventus look to edge closer to Serie A title

Juventus will be looking to boost their hopes of clinching the Serie A title when they host Sampdoria at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday, July 26.
 
The current league log leaders are undefeated in their last 38 home matches in the league having recorded six draws and 32 wins as hosts.
 
Juventus secured a narrow 2-1 win over a resilient Laizo side in their last home match which was played on July 20.

While Inter Milan will be looking to maintain their position on the second spot when they face Genoa at Stadio Comunale Luigi Ferraris on July 25.
 
Inter are unbeaten in their last four away matches in the league having recorded two draws and two victories on the road.
 
The Big Grass Snake were held to a 2-2 draw by a stubborn AS Roma side in their last away game which was played on July 19.
 
Antonio Conte, the Inter manager, is pleased with how his side has performed in the league this season.
 
“This team’s statistics are impressive: we’ve only lost four matches," Conte said.
 
"While we also have the best attack and best defence. I think that our fans can be proud, also because it takes time to build something big.
 
"We need to work hard and continue to grow in order to manage the pressure, using our experience in the right way."
 
Meanwhile, Lazio, who are placed fourth on the league standings, will play host to Hellas Verona at Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi on July 26.
 
The Eagles succumbed to a 2-1 defeat to the defending champions Juventus in their last away match which was played on July 20.
 
As a result, Laizo are now winless in their last three matches on the road in the league having recorded two defeats and one draw.
 
Lastly, Atalanta, who are placed third on the standings, will be away to AC Milan at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on July 24.
 
The Goddess were held to a 1-1 draw by a stubborn Hellas Verona side in their last away match which was played on July 18.
 
Atalanta are unbeaten in their last seven matches on the road in the league having three draws and four wins.
