Manchester City will be looking to reach the FA Cup final for the 12th time when they face Chelsea in a semi-final match on April 17.

The Citizens have taken part in 11 finals and won the competition six times lifting the trophy in 1904, 1934, 1956, 1969, 2011 and 2019.

They clinched their last title in 2019 after defeating Watford FC 6-0 in a one-sided final match at the Wembley Stadium.

City had claimed a narrow 1-0 victory over Brighton and Hove Albion in a semi-final match at the same venue in April 2019.

Meanwhile, City saw their five-match unbeaten run come to an end when they lost to Leeds United in their last competitive game on April 10.

The 2-1 defeat to Leeds came in a Premier League match and the Citizens are scheduled to face German giants Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League game on April 14.

The Citizens will then focus on their encounter against Chelsea FC as they look to keep their ambitions of lifting their seventh FA Cup title alive.

Oleksandr Zinchenko, the City left-back, says they are eyeing an unprecedented Quadruple as the Citizens are looking to clinch this season's FA Cup, Champions League, Premier League and League Cup.

"Bayern showed last year. They won everything, right? Barcelona did it as well the other year with Pep and I think of course everything is possible. We've got an unbelievable squad, the best players in the world. Why not?" Zinchenko asked.

"Inside the dressing room or inside the team I can see hungry eyes. Everyone is so hungry for the titles. That's what we want. In this period right now I would say there is a bit more than two months.

"It is the most important two months in our careers,. "Sergio Aguero, Fernandinho have been here for close to 10 years and they deserve it so we are going to try."

The last time Chelsea and City met in the FA Cup was on 21 February 2016.

Chelsea proved too strong for City as the Blues emerged 5-1 winners in the fifth round match which was played at Stamford Bridge.
