Chicago Bulls v Milwaukee Bucks

2021-22 NBA Regular Season

Saturday 5 March 2022

United Center, Chicago, Illinois

Tip-off at 00:30

The Chicago Bulls and the Milwaukee Bucks will renew their rivalry with an NBA Regular Season meeting at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois on the morning of Saturday 5 March 2022. Tip-off is at 00:30.

The Bulls have been one of the standout teams in the Eastern Conference – especially in recent weeks – and they will be eager to keep up their high standards and prove themselves against the current NBA Champions.

To that end, they will definitely look to DeMar DeRozan, who recently became the first player in NBA history to score 35 points while shooting better than 50 percent from the field in seven consecutive games – eclipsing a mark set by the great Wilt Chamberlain almost 60 years ago.

"Just to be in the record books along with staples of basketball history... [I'm] speechless," DeRozan said. "As a kid, as a fan of the history of the game, being in the league as long as I've been in the league, things like that continue to make me even more humble.”

The Bucks, meanwhile, are another team right up there in a congested Eastern Conference summit, as they seek a clear path to retaining their title. However, they will need to be more ruthless and precise, according to key player Khris Middleton.

“Very frustrating,” said Middleton of Milwaukee narrowly losing some recent games. “That's how these games go sometimes. You've just got to trust and keep shooting when I'm open, keep being aggressive.”

Star man Giannis Antetokounmpo added, “We had a lot of open looks, good shots that did not fall, shots that we usually make down the stretch. We’ll need to improve on that.”

In head-to-head stats, the Bulls and the Bucks have met in 256 Regular Season games since 1969-69, with Chicago claiming 132 wins compared to 124 for Milwaukee. The teams’ last Regular Season meeting was in January 2022, with the Bucks winning 94-90 at home thanks to 30 points from Giannis Antetokounmpo.
